Mobility: „Smart Approach”, Project: School Integration Exchange Hub+ (Acronym: SIE HUB+)

The second mobility of the School Integration Exchange Hub+ (Acronym: SIE HUB+)" project, a Short-
term joint staff training event “Smart Approach” took place in Sofia and Veliko Trnovo, at Centre for Educational Integration of Children and Students from Ethnic Minorities with the three partners from North Macedonia, Spain and the Bulgarian hosts.

The mobility aims to initiate cooperation that brings potential to tackle early school leaving by the
creation of a cross-sectorial network for sharing and transferring good practices. The main focus is on
the prevention of early school leaving (ESL) of pupils from vulnerable groups.

The partnership brings together players of a different type, civil society organization with new
networking solutions, a national public body responsible for the educational integration of children
from minorities, and training center with more than five decades of experience in training to the
targeted groups of vulnerable students and migrant from the diverse socioeconomic background.

In order to promote collection and exchange of knowledge and to improve practices involving
different perspectives and knowledge, the project addresses the following priorities:
- Creation of inventory of good practices which include examples of new curricula, courses, learning materials;
- Exchange of practical ideas and tools; learning and teaching methodologies and pedagogical approaches, new forms of practical consultation and support schemes and study of real-life cases;
- Developing new interactions that provide better opportunities  for access to disadvantages.
