The association "European Citizenship Action" - Bitola in cooperation with the non-governmental organization "DomSpain" from Reus, Spain realized the Erasmus project "Digital Citizenship", in the period from March 11-15, 2024.
The concept of this project integrates digital literacy and online responsibility enabling access and use of technology in an effective and safe way.
According to the latest European policies, the following decade is expected to be Digital Decade, where digital citizenship is announced and following targets are set:
·100% online provision of key public services available for European citizens and businesses
·100% of European citizens have access to medical records (e-records)
·80% of citizens will use a digital ID solution.
For that purpose, we need to learn more from the more experienced European organizations in how to better deal with such issues on local level.
This project was implemented as job shadowing. The hosts welcomed and warmly received our representatives, Biljana Bejkovska, Daniela Jovanovska and Sanja Kuzmanovska, in their premises, located in Reus.
They prepared various presentations related to this topic, which were very innovative and very useful. Some of the topics were: "Innovative learning and teaching strategies", "Skills to improve classroom management", "How to prepare attractive educational materials for class" etc. An interesting topic was about artificial intelligence, whether it is used in the right way or misused, advantages and disadvantages. They learnt about presenting with "Canva", instead of power point, how to use it, which possibilities it offers. They got knowledge about a variety of interactive quizzes (e.g. Kahut) which are applicable in everyday life.
Apart from the working day, the hosts organized walks and sightseeing in Reus, Tarragona and Barcelona. Our representatives had the opportunity to get to know the most important features of these cities, to feel the taste of their specialties and to experience the way of life.
